This workshop will provide an update on Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency regulations, Title IX state-of-play and policy requirements, cybersecurity and the updated Audit Guide, and an overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act/Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act as it applies to postsecondary institutions. The webinar will also discuss lessons from Borrower Defense to Repayment applications and how institutions can better prepare policies and disclosures.

Ed Cramp Team Lead of Education Practice at Duane Morris Law Firm Edward Cramp represents institutions of higher education around the United States in accreditation, regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters. He is a team lead for the Duane Morris Education industry group. He also serves as the managing partner of the firm’s San Diego office. Mr. Cramp is active in the higher education community. He regularly speaks at conferences and events throughout the country on a variety of issues. Mr. Cramp also teaches higher education law and compliance as an adjunct faculty member at the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and College of Education. Mr. Cramp served as a judge advocate in the United States Navy, where he was appointed to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During his time in the naval service, he defended numerous matters before courts-martial and administrative boards. He also represented the interests of the United States in claims brought against and on behalf of the Navy.
Jessica High Special Counsel at Duane Morris Law Firm Jessica S. High is an attorney at Duane Morris LLP. She counsels private sector colleges and universities in their many specialized relationships, including matters of state and federal regulation, accreditation compliance and advocacy, and student and employee disputes and concerns. Ms. High specializes in Title IV requirements, Title IX policies and procedures, Clery Act compliance, state licensing requirements, Borrower Defense to Repayment issues and responses, federal and state discrimination complaints and investigations, marketing guidelines, and student accommodation issues. Before becoming an attorney, she spent over a decade employed by private sector colleges in their financial aid, admissions, accounting, student services and human resources departments
Aaron Shenck Executive Director of Mid-Atlantic Association of Career Schools Aaron has served as the Executive Director of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Career Schools since 2014. Prior to that he worked in the Office of the Governor in Pennsylvania from 2011-2014 as Deputy Secretary of Legislative Affairs and also as the Government Relations Director for the PA Department of Education. He worked from 2004-2011 in the Pennsylvania State Senate, including time as Staff Director of the Senate Education Committee. Aaron worked from 2000-2004 in the Pennsylvania house of Representatives. He also interned with the United States Congress from 1998-2000. Aaron graduated with honors from Millersville University in 2000 with a major in Political Science and minors in Economics and International Relations.
