As the peak body for the backpacking and independent travel industry in Queensland, AQ has successfully showcased and recognized outstanding tourism experiences, people, and places across Australia and New Zealand in previous years through these prestigious events.
This year, the industry-led Adventure Tourism Awards will return with its traditional awards ceremony and sit-down dinner service. We invite you to join us in celebrating the efforts and achievements of our resilient sector. Along with supporters and sponsors of the youth tourism sector, our goal is to bring the industry together to work towards a stronger future, highlighting the importance of formally recognizing and awarding operators and individuals for their accomplishments. The Youth Tourism Conference is a dedicated all-day event focused on addressing the challenges and opportunities in the youth tourism sector in Australia and New Zealand.

Complimenting this year's Adventure Tourism Conference & Awards, Hero are hosting a technology forum for their agents and operator partners.The first session of the day is for travel resellers where Hero's team will unveil their new and upcoming agent-facing features and share ideas on how we can develop tech to help you achieve your business goals. The second session is for operators, where they'll provide guidance on how your product listings can be improved for the best results.
