Dr. Dumi MagadlelaTrustee, International Coaching Federation (ICF) Foundation Board.
Dumi is a Behavioral Scientist, a certified international Executive Coach and Leadership Development Facilitator based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He works across the African continent delivering leadership, coaching, mentoring, and organisation culture training.
Dumi uses Emotional Intelligence, Gestalt, and Ubuntu values to ignite human excellence within individuals, in teams, and across organisation systems. He has been helping organizations develop dynamic and high-performance cultures for many years, focusing on individual and collective leadership behaviours and values. He is passionate about helping leaders navigate the modern high-tech and digital workplace, and facilitating coach-training programmes to promote and develop coaching skills within organizations.
Dumi serves on the faculties of The Integral Africa Coaching Centre in Cape Town (where he teaches on the African Coaching Context, with Ubuntu awareness), and is on the University of Stellenbosch Business School part-time faculty where he delivers an African Team Coaching fundamentals module.
He is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and of the Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA). He is the co-founding Chairperson of the pioneering Ubuntu Coaching Foundation (UCF), and is one of the Founding Board Members of the Africa Board for Coaching, Consulting and Coaching Psychology (ABCCCP). He currently serves as a trustee on the international Board of Trustees of the ICF Foundation.
He recently co-edited a pioneering publication on African coaching and consulting, and regularly features on radio programmes discussing coaching and personal effectiveness.
