Theme: Leveraging on Sustainable Business Events to drive Africa's Recovery

The Africa MICE Summit is the leading platform for the growth & development of the business events industry in Africa. The Summit showcases sustainable innovations, technology solutions, industry development programs as well as investment & partnership opportunities in the Meetings & Events in Africa.
Over the years, the Africa MICE Summit has emerged as the leading learning and knowledge-exchange platform for the Business Events & Meetings Industry in Africa.
In 2020 in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, the Africa MICE Summit hosted a Continental Stakeholders Forum bringing together industry players and stakeholders under the theme "Forecasting Ahead: Africa's MICE Industry Post 2020".
Until the COVID 19 pandemic, the economic impact of business tourism went unnoticed or ignored by most African destinations. The pandemic has provided a business case for African countries to re-align their business tourism agenda in their national development plans in recognition of the impact that the MICE industry has on our people, communities and economies.
The Africa MICE Summit intends to achieve the following:
- Identify the emerging and growing trends in the global MICE industry.
- Identify opportunities for investment and expansion within the industry amidst the crisis brought about by the COVID19 pandemic.
- Gain access to thought-leaders and industry champions in the Meetings & Events industry.
- Build linkages, collaborations and partnerships for business growth and development.
- Network with like-minded industry colleagues, professionals and entrepreneurs.
- Provide a vibrant learning and knowledge-sharing platform.
- Share experiences and stories of resilience as the MICE industry in Africa forges forward towards recovery.
On 9th September, 2021, in celebration of the Africa Meetings Industry Day (AMID), we host the Africa MICE Industry Policy Makers Round Table.
This year's event is an ideal opportunity to reflect, learn, network and strategize for new and emerging opportunities in the global MICE Industry.
Due to the current pandemic, the event will be held online.
