King Cortez is currently the External Affairs Director of Magsasaka Inc. and the Operations Manager of Sinag Animation Studios. Having graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from the City College of Manila, he's been involved in missionary works such as the Bread Society International at the Buduburam Liberian Refugee Camp in Ghana, Africa and the Tribe of Madarang in Papua, New Guinea. In the following years, he pursued his studies on Effective Legislation and Good Governance under the National College of Public Administration and Governance - University of the Philippines and finished his Master's Degree in Communication Management at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. His excellent educational background has launched his successful professional career coupled with numerous books that he has written about the Philippine History and Literature titled as Kakanyahan ng Malolos Volumes 1-3, Mga Kuwentong Mahika ng Malolos, Pangunahing Pag-aaral ng Gramatika ng Filipino, Ingles, Portuges and Plaridel: Dungan ng Katipunan.
