Mercy Omollo is the current ISACA Kenya President and Board Chair. ISACA Kenya is a professional association of digital trust professionals drawn from various fields in technology including cyber security, data privacy, IT audit, IT risk with accredited worldwide certifications on the same.

She is a seasoned technology leader with over 13 years of experience in Technology Risk and Audit as an executive holding various positions over the years in the fields of governance, risk management, audits and assurance as well as business process controls improvement.

She is currently a director Information, Cybersecurity and Technology Risk at a local bank. Previously she worked as a Risk Manager at Liberty Kenya Insurance and Senior Consultant with Deloitte East Africa's Risk advisory (RA) practice.

She currently serves on the Kenya Red Cross Audit & Risk Committee, IIA Global Professional Certifications Board (PCB) as well as various ISACA Global Working committees. She has presented as a seasoned speaker, panellist and moderator and in various forums such as the ISACA Kenya Chapter Conferences, regional level event or joint ISACA chapter events (Uganda, Tanzania Nigeria, Namibia) and other cyber security forums such as Women in Cybersecurity, (WiCyS) East Africa.
She holds an MBA from University of London, a BSc. Business Information Technology (BBIT) from JKUAT, is a CIA, CISA, CRISC and CDPSE certifications holder.

Hon. Felix K. Koskei, E.G.H., MCIPS, MKISM, is a career civil servant with over three decades of illustrious service within the Executive, Judiciary, Constitutional Commissions and State Agencies/Corporations. In his years of service, he has had the distinct privilege of making contributions across diverse sectors of our national life. These include public administration and
governance, agriculture, irrigation, environment, telecommunications, transport, aviation, as well as the roads and infrastructure sub-sectors.

He currently serves the nation as the Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service in the Executive Office of the President. Before his appointment on 14th October, 2022, Mr. Koskei was serving as a Member/Commissioner of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), a position he assumed in the year 2018.

In the preceding years, Mr. Koskei held the esteemed role of Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation & Fisheries from 2013 through to 2015; a period marked by his instrumental leadership in shaping the nation’s agricultural transformation strategy.

Mr. Koskei’s interest in civic affairs can be traced to the year 1990, when he joined a group of environmentalists who were spearheading a seedlings propagation programme. Thereafter, he joined the Kenya Posts and Telecommunication Corporation (KPTC) in 1997 as a supplies officer. He rose through the ranks, with his final position at Telkom Kenya (the successor of KPTC) being that of Manager - Contracts and Services in 2005.

Upon the establishment of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (the Commission) (predecessor of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)) in 2005, Mr. Koskei was tapped by the Third Administration to serve in the Commission as the Procurement Specialist. Thereafter, he joined Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) as the Manager - Procurement; and upon the establishment of Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) in 2008, he would, a year later, be appointed as the organization’s Head of Procurement. While at KeNHA, he was promoted to the position of General Manager - Supply Chain and Support Service in the year 2013, a position he held until his appointment as a Cabinet Secretary in the nation’s Fourth Administration in the same year.
Mr. Koskei holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) both from the University of Nairobi. He also holds a number of other professional certifications, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).

Eng. John Kipchumba Tanui,CBS, is a visionary leader driving Kenya’s digital revolution. Currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, he oversees the State Department for ICT and the Digital Economy. Tasked with transforming Kenya into a robust, digitally-enabled society, Eng. Tanui champions strategic infrastructure deployment, cutting-edge digital solutions, and progressive policies. His ambitious goal is to position Kenya as the technology hub of the region while fostering a thriving digital ecosystem to support the government’s Bottom-up Digital Transformation Agenda (BETA).
An accomplished engineering graduate, Eng. Tanui holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering and an MBA in International Business. With over 25 years of experience spanning both the private and public sectors across multiple continents, he brings a wealth of expertise as a technology professional. His career is defined by a passion for engineering large-scale strategic projects, nurturing innovation, and forging industry collaborations for sustainable development and economic transformation. Notably, he is celebrated for turning Konza Technopolis—often dubbed the “Silicon Savanna”—from a visionary concept into a thriving smart city, a project of critical national importance.
Beyond Kenya, Eng. Tanui has made significant contributions to the global innovation landscape. From 2021 to 2024, he served as President of the African Division of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of a robust ecosystem of science parks and innovation hubs across Africa. A highlight of his leadership was Kenya’s hosting of the IASP World Conference—the first time the event was held in Kenya and only the second time in Africa—marking a milestone for the continent’s innovation community.

Ambassador Philip Thigo, MBS, is a renowned technology and public policy expert. He is the Special Envoy for Technology for the Republic of Kenya and founding director for Africa at the Thunderbird School for Global Management at Arizona State University.
Apolitical named him as 2025 World Leading individuals on Artificial Intelligence in Government and World's 100 most influential people in digital government in 2018. In 2023, Africa Com listed him among Africa's Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Technology and Telecommunications. In 2023, the United Nations Secretary-General appointed him to his High-Level Advisory Board on Artificial Intelligence (HLAB).
In August 2024, Amb. Thigo was recognized by Mozilla under their RISE25 Award as one of five advocates leading the development of artificial intelligence ethically, inclusively, and transparently. On December 12, 2023, during Kenya’s 60th Independence Day Anniversary, he was awarded the Presidential Commendation, Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (M.B.S), for his distinguished service to the country.
Amb. Thigo has been curating with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the African Union, the Women Economic Empowerment and Financial Inclusion (WEE-FI) for Africa. He Serves in multiple boards and roles - he is a founding steering committee member of the Coalition for Digital Environmental Sustainability (CODES), leads the Power of Data Initiative by Global Partnership on Sustainable Development Data, Technical Advisory Board of Digital Earth Africa, Sub-Regional Ambassador for the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), Board member of NASA's Earth Observations for SDGs (EO4SDGs), and the Chair of the Board of Mama Organization and Mtoto News.
Amb. Thigo has co-authored insight reports at the World Economic Forum Global Councils on Food Systems Innovation and the Global Councils on the 4th Industrial Revolution for Global Public Goods, published with Social Watch, Global Voices, Foundation El Taller, Fetzer—Woodrow Wilson Institute of International Development, EISA, and Limerick University, amongst others.
Amb. Thigo has previously held executive positions in International Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations, and social ventures in Africa, MENA & Latin America, where he has co-created initiatives such as Elections- Uchaguzi, Budget Tracking Tool for citizen engagement.

Stanley Kamanguya is an experienced and trusted IT professional with over twelve years of expertise in IT consulting. His career focuses on Business & IT Transformations, business development, and project management, spanning both private and public sector projects. This extensive experience has allowed him to develop a valuable blend of business acumen and technical skills. As a seasoned team leader, Stanley excels in meeting business needs through excellent service delivery. He is adept at effectively prioritizing multiple mission-critical tasks and performs well under pressure. His professional toolkit includes strong interpersonal and presentation skills, critical thinking abilities, and a talent for problem-solving. Stanley's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He has further enhanced his expertise with several professional qualifications, including PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control). Satyajit has over 15 years of experience in providing IT advisory, and cyber services to clients covering diverse sectors of the economy. He is the Regional Director at Grant Thornton leading the IT Advisory and Cyber practice in East Africa and is the Head of Grant Thornton Digital Transformation for Africa.
He has a wealth of experience to do with Information Systems Audits, data analytics and Information Security Audits, Software development, feasibility studies, Data Governance and Privacy consulting and IT Due diligence as part of Financial and Tax due diligences among others.
He has led several engagements with clients from a broad spectrum of industry sectors within Africa, India and Europe, ensuring client satisfaction and extensive collaboration to understand demands and meet professional standards.
He has led engagements and acted as a quality reviewer on engagements which include but are not limited to: Infosec advisory, IT internal audits, Cybersecurity services, cyber forensic investigations, project management, Product monetisation consulting, IT Consultancy and IT Audit and Assurance engagements.
He is passionate about building sustainable enterprises using technology as an enabler of services and handles the start up advisory wing for Grant Thornton as part of the digital transformation initiative.
He is currently a Journal reviewer for ISACA International, has also been part of the Risk IT framework Development taskforce for ISACA International and the CISA Manual (28th Edition) Subject Matter Expert Reviewer in the domain of IT Audit and Assurance.

Dr. Magdalyne Wambui Kamande is a distinguished technology leader and digital transformation expert with over 13 years of experience in enterprise systems development across Europe, Asia, and Africa. She currently serves as the Director of ICT and Transformation Services at The Nairobi Hospital, where she leads the hospital’s digital transformation strategy, integrating cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency and innovation in healthcare.

Her contributions to the ICT landscape extend beyond healthcare. She is the CEO and Lead Digital Transformation Consultant at Accelerating Digital Transformation LTD, where she advises organizations on implementing end-to-end digital solutions. Previously, as Senior Lead Engineer at Huawei Technologies in Moscow, Russia, she pioneered AI-driven optimizations in cloud storage, achieving a 10% performance boost through advanced data reduction algorithms.

Academically, she holds a First-Class PhD in Computer Engineering from St. Petersburg State University, Russia, specializing in Scaling Optimization for Blockchain Problems, alongside a First-Class Master’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering and Informatics. In 2024, she earned the prestigious GovStack Certification from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), GIZ, the Digital Impact Alliance, and the Republic of Estonia Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reinforcing her role as a thought leader in digital government transformation.

Dr. Kamande has been instrumental in shaping Africa’s digital future, mentoring young professionals and driving initiatives like Africa’s Youth Centre of Excellence. Her work focuses on bridging the digital divide, securing sensitive data, and empowering ministries to embrace transformative technologies.

At the ISACA Kenya 2025 Annual Conference, she will share her expertise on the future of telemedicine, exploring how emerging technologies are reshaping healthcare delivery.

Mark Oyier i an experienced technology leader with an illustrious career spanning 17 years, 14 of which were in Banking and F ancial Services, specifically in Software development Digital Channels and large-scale implementatio As Head of Department, Billing & Core Applications at Safaricom PLC, Mark is currently leading Business Systems Digitization and transformati n by evolving core platforms including CRM System, Core Billing Platform, Integration Middleware & CVM pla forms. Previously he held the role of HOD, IT Infrastruc ure & Shared Applications still at Safaricom. He was responsible for leading the digitization and modernization of enterprise applications, hybrid cloud platforms and IT infrastructure and played a key role in the Cloud Migration Strategy setup and digital channels cloudification.
Prior to joining Safaricom, Mark was the Head of Applications, Dev & Support at Stanbic Bank Kenya. At Stanbic, his role was primarily focused on leading the production systems and development team where he initiated the Bank’s first centralized SOC (Service Operations Centre) function and supported it with a 24/7 SRE team. He also created the IT Production Systems Strategy that was aligned with the overall IT & Business Strategy.

Mark also worked at NCBA Bank PLC Kenya where he was the Head of Applications and Channels. He helped establish a Group IT Support Operations Framework and rolled out core banking systems, mobile apps and internet banking c annels across 4 bank subsidiaries in East Africa including an established fintech credit platform Mshwari.

Mark's leadership style has consistently been transformative over the years with deliberate efforts to bridge empathy for others thereby creating an inclusive atmosphere that improves employees’ personal and professional well-being.

A holder of Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University, Master of Education in Educational Psychology from Kenyatta University, Master of Arts in Child Development from Daystar University, Doctor of Educational Administration from University of Nairobi. She also holds several short course certificates, including in research ethics on proposal review. She has taught at high school level and works with the commission for UNESCO in Kenya as deputy director programmes in Ethics of Science and Sports Division. She is a member of the Bioethics Society of Kenya, International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) and the National Bioethics Committee. She has participated in organizing both local and international conferences, among them, the UNESCO General conference that takes place biennially. She has attended and made presentations at both local and international conferences. She has conducted several studies and conducted capacity building as well as sensitization in diverse fields related to her area of work. She runs programmes on child development especially in aspects of education. She is an author and editor of several books and published in peer-reviewed journals. Eric is the Head of Cybersecurity at KCB Bank Group, overseeing operations across six East African countries. He is responsible for shaping the bank’s cybersecurity vision, strategy, and implementation, ensuring the program enhances digital trust through industry-leading practices in Cyber Governance, Cyber Defense, Cybersecurity Assurance, Enterprise Security Architecture, and Security Operations.

With extensive experience in senior cybersecurity management, Eric specializes in strategy formulation, security systems management, resource planning, and fostering a cyber risk-aware culture. As a transformative leader, he cultivates high-performance teams and positions cybersecurity as a key business enabler.

Previously, Eric provided Information Security advisory services across six African countries, conducting enterprise security assessments and developing roadmaps for security transformation. His expertise spans strategic cybersecurity leadership, cyber risk management, governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF), vulnerability management, ethical hacking, and identity & access control. His background in financial audit and accountancy further strengthens his ability to assess business and financial systems’ risk exposure.

George is a professional with a diverse background, combining expertise in Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Audit and IT to offer assurance and advisory services to Executive Management and Board-level committees for the past 17 years across 20 Sub-Saharan Africa markets.

He is currently the Vice President at ISACA Kenya and an Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist in the fintech sector, focusing on digital financial assets. Previously, he held positions as Head of Risk & Compliance and MLRO at Airtel Money Kenya, as well as Internal Audit Manager for Information Systems at Britam. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in IT (Information Security & Audit), and has earned certifications including CISA, PMP, ITIL and the IRM Certificate in Financial Services Risk Management, among others.

Moses is Governance Risk and Compliance Professional with over 18 years of experience. A MBA degree holder in Strategic management from the University of Nairobi. He holds a degree in Business Management specializing in accounting from Moi University. His experience spans across Auditing, forensics, Risk management and Compliance.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a member of ICPAK, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (Currently serving as the Treasurer for the Kenay Chapter), a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), a Certified ISO31000 - Lead Risk Manager and trainer among other certifications.

He started his career with Ernst & Young before joining the banking industry. He has held various leadership positions in banking which include heading an audit function, risk management and investigations and is currently the Head of Risk and Compliance at Kingdom Bank.

Gilbert is a highly qualified and experienced information systems audit, risk management, information Security and data privacy professional. His expertise lies in ensuring the security and integrity of organizations' IT systems and mitigating risks associated with technology.

With a proven track record of achieving results and a comprehensive set of qualifications including Masters in Project Planning & Management, Computer Science, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, (ISC)² Cybersecurity, PRINCE2 among others, Gilbert brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to every project.

Additionally, Gilbert actively contributes to the professional community as a dedicated member of the ISACA Kenya Chapter. As the Membership Director, he engages with fellow professionals and provides leadership in shaping the chapter's strategic direction. He has played key roles in educational outreach, program management, and leadership development initiatives while at the Special Programs and Education Chapter Committees.

Dorcas Njuguna is a distinguished leader in the field of Human Resources and leadership
development, recognized as one of the Top 200 Biggest Voices in Leadership to watch in 2022.
Her impact and influence were further acknowledged when she was named one of the 11
Inspiring Women HR Leaders in Kenya by People Hum. With a career spanning over 16 years
in corporate, Dorcas has made her mark across various industries, including investment, retail,
training, and hospitality, rising from entry-level roles to positions in the C-Suite.
Holding a Higher Diploma from the Kenya Institute of Management, a degree in Human
Resources from Kenya Methodist University, and nearing completion of her MBA in Strategic
Management from JKUAT, Dorcas’s academic credentials are as impressive as her professional
achievements. She is a Certified Talent Optimization Consultant (TOC), a Certified HR
Professional (CHR), and has earned multiple certifications including DIEB Advocacy, Allyship,
and Google’s #IamRemarkable Facilitator,LeanIn Girls program facilitator.
Dorcas is the founder of Women in HR Kenya, where she advocates for women's empowerment
and leadership in HR. As the Lead Trainer at IHR Solutions, she delivers impactful training and
consulting services to help organizations optimize talent management and leadership strategies.
She is also a certified coach, speaker, and trainer with the Maxwell Leadership Team, offering
expert guidance to individuals and teams looking to excel in their leadership journey.
Her dynamic energy, deep expertise, and engaging approach have positioned her as a
sought-after consultant, coach, and thought leader. Dorcas continues to drive change and
inspire excellence in the HR space while leading Women in HR Kenya and working as an
independent consultant at IHR Solutions.

Alfred Njeru Magara is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over a decade of progressive experience in cybersecurity audits, ethical hacking and delivering cybersecurity and IT Service Management solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Services at Salaam Technology Limited, he leads client engagements, cybersecurity solution delivery, and cross functional technical teams across IT Solutions, security assurance, SOC operations, and data analytics.

Alfred’s career spans leadership roles at top-tier institutions, including Kenya Commercial Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Safaricom PLC, PwC, and KPMG. He has led red team exercises, internal and external audits, and cyber risk advisory projects across financial, telecom, and enterprise environments—contributing directly to improved cybersecurity postures and regulatory compliance.

Recognized globally for his contributions to ethical hacking, Alfred is Africa’s first Bugcrowd and HackerOne Ambassador. He is a passionate advocate for responsible disclosure and has submitted hundreds of vulnerability reports via platforms like OpenBugBounty, helping organizations strengthen their security controls.

A frequent conference speaker and educator, Alfred has delivered talks at AfricaHackon, SheHacks, and ISACA workshops, and has trained over 400 students through his online Windows Security Auditing course. He is also a member of the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations Community Advisory Board and maintains an active presence in the InfoSec community through publications, open-source tools, and security research contributions.

With this certification Mercy is able to use proven tools for teams to come together to communicate effectively minimize conflict and improve their relationships in order to accelerate results.

Mercy’s specialty is managers and executives and she applies her experience and education to help them to achieve the outcomes they desire, while becoming better leaders in the process. She is appointed as a Maxwell Leadership Executive Director and a Corporate Facilitator and uses this appointment to help advance the fundamental principle that; everyone deserves to be led well.

Mercy is an author of the book; “Three’s Divine.” She has received many prestigious awards for her contributions, including the Maxwell Live2Lead 2020 Global Award and a World Women Leadership Award in 2019 for her work in the Middle East, and more recently The African Trainer Award (ATA) Corporate Facilitator Category 2023 and The Maxwell Leadership Culture Award for Modeling Consistency 2023. She has a Master’s degree in Leadership & Sustainability from University of Cumbria, in the United Kingdom. She is the immediate former Chair for the Services sector at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and is a member of Women in Manufacturing (WIM) steering committee.
Mercy has been married for 23 years to her friend and soulmate Crispin and together have a 20-year-old son named Sean. As a person of faith her mantra is to be a river and not a reservoir and she wants to ‘die empty.’

Peter Kisa Baziwe a.k.a V3t3r4n is a single father with 2 great boys. He is an Independent Technology Auditor with a strong Cybersecurity background bringing 22 years’ experience various consulting in various International and local ICT positions like a Network Administrator, Reverse Engineer Wireless Consultant, IT Auditor, CyberForensics Consultant.
Peter has done a number of Cybersecurity projects to match his code name V3T3R4N. He is infamous for coming out of retirement and busting a group called TZ_Hackerz. Since 2016 he has successfully carried out over 50 IT audits of Financial, Fintech and Public Institutions in Tanzania. Through ISACA he has conducted IT Steering Committee training to NHC: TTCL: PSSSF NSSF to name a few.
He believes in cross domain knowledge as the future of any career and is a Critical Thinking Advocate. His favorite quote is Adapt Evolve or Fade! His interests now lean more to Blockchain technology, using AI for Good. He has holds 12 ICT certifications his lsst one being GCP-PMLE 2023.
He is a founder member of 4PAY Inc. a fintech company that uses its AI Cloud platform for products like Wakala Songesha as Security and Compliance Lead for over 11years.
Peter is passionate about overcoming obstacles and mental fortitude. His whole life mission is centered around enabling people change their mindsets to achieve their dreams.

His Excellency, Mr. Modou Ceesay was appointed as the Auditor General (AG) by the President of the Republic of The Gambia on the 22nd of November 2022. Before his appointment as Auditor General, Mr. Ceesay was the Chief Executive of the Internal Audit Directorate under the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs of the Government of The Gambia.
Within the INTOSAI (International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions) community, Mr. Ceesay is a member of the Governing Board of the AFROSAI-E (African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions), a member of the AFROSAI Governing Board as a Principal Auditor, Chair of the African Professionalization Initiative (API) a subsidiary of the AFROSAI-E. He is also a member of the Institutional and Capacity Development Committee of AFROSAI. In addition, he chairs the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA, The Gambia Formation Chapter) and serves as a Board Member of the Gambia’s Financial Reporting Oversight Board (FROB).
In December 2023, he facilitated the membership of the Gambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (GICA) to becoming a member of the African Professionalization Initiative (API), supporting the professionalization of the Gambia’s public sector to enhance public sector service delivery in line with the ongoing reforms of the Government. His perspective on achieving the SAI’s mandate and building a capable professional team is that colleagues must take responsibility and be drivers of that continuous positive change themselves, through effective participation regardless of status or level.
Mr. Ceesay holds a Master’s degree in Public Management in International Cooperation and holds a Bachelor’s degree (major in economics). He is a fellow of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Certified (ACFE, USA); Certified Internal Auditor-CIA/PIIA; Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (UK); Affiliate of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA – UK) and an Associate member of ISACA Certified Information System Auditor (CISA, USA).

He served as a Public Financial Management Committee member of the Constitutional Review Commission and lead consultant in drafting Public Financial Management Act, Financial Regulations and Guidelines during his time as the head of the Government Internal Audit Directorate.

Through his leadership, he facilitated the membership of the NAO to the ACFE Law Enforcement and Government Alliance (LEGA) – making the NAO the first public institution in the Gambia to become affiliated to this anti-corruption body.

John Mutunga is the Founder and CEO of Cyberpro Global, a Nairobi-based cybersecurity firm.
Under his leadership, Cyberpro Global has been instrumental in advancing cybersecurity education and awareness in Kenya and the broader African region.

In 2024, Mutunga played a pivotal role in establishing a Cyber Security Research Center at the University of Nairobi's Department of Computing and Informatics.
This initiative, in collaboration with Cyberpro Global and the Israeli Economic Mission to Nairobi, aims to position the center as a hub of excellence for cybersecurity research and training in Africa.

Mutunga also spearheaded the organization of Cyberweek Africa 2024, hosted at the University of Nairobi from September 23 to 27, 2024. The event attracted over 4,000 delegates from more than 90 countries, fostering discussions on the latest trends and challenges in cybersecurity.

Beyond these initiatives, Mutunga has been active in forming strategic partnerships to enhance cybersecurity education. Notably, he facilitated a collaboration between Cyberpro Global and Daystar University to promote cybersecurity education in Kenya.
Additionally, he oversaw a partnership between CyberPro Africa and Unicaf, aiming to provide scholarships and practical training for IT professionals, thereby addressing real-world challenges in the field.

Mutunga's efforts underscore his commitment to strengthening cybersecurity infrastructure and education in Africa, positioning Cyberpro Global as a key player in the continent's digital security landscape.

Carolyne is a seasoned IT Risk Compliance and Security professional with over 10 years of experience driving transformative outcomes in Data Privacy, Information Security, Risk Assessment, IT Systems Auditing, Compliance Audit, Business Continuity Management and Cybersecurity and Policy. Her expertise spans multiple industries, including Telecommunications, Banking, Manufacturing, Insurance, Government and Non-Government Institutions. She has delivered transformative results in Compliance Reviews, Training, Cybersecurity Policy & Strategy Development, ISO 27001:2022 and PCI DSS implementation.

Carolyne holds key certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) and is currently pursuing the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

She is a dedicated, platinum member of ISACA, an international professional association focused on IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, where she serves on the Board as the Certification Director.

Prior to Serianu, Carolyne worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kenya in the risk assurance service sector.

Currently, Carolyne is the Risk and Compliance Lead at Serianu.

Maryanne Mwai is a Board Member at the ISACA Kenya Chapter in charge of Special Programs, she is also the Assistant Director of ICT at the Kenya National Highways Authority. She boasts of over 15 years of experience in the ICT arena.

Her current portfolio entails ICT Policy and procedures formulation and implementation, ICT Security and Infrastructure planning and operation, Data Privacy implementation. She also coordinates the IT functions for the KeNHA Board of Directors.

Maryanne holds a Master in Business Administration in Information Technology (IT) Management from the United States International University (USIU) and a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Technology from the same University.

Maryanne has various certifications including Quality Management Systems (QMS) (ISO 9001) Lead Auditor, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) (ISO 27001) implementor, Prince 2, among others.

Faith Wawira is currently serving as the Principal ICT Officer at the Water Resources Authority, where she passionately focuses on designing and implementing advanced systems for water resources information management, she excels at driving innovation and boosting efficiency in her field.

Beyond her technical expertise, Faith exhibits outstanding leadership and team-building abilities through her many voluntary roles. She is actively involved with ISACA—an organization dedicated to IT governance and digital trust—serving as the SheLeadsTech Liaison for the Kenya Chapter and as a member of the Global SheLeadsTech Committee, reflecting her dedication to empowering women in technology and championing diversity. She is also a board member of the Kenya Swedish Alumni Network, where she supports cross-cultural collaboration, and sits on the board for “Scratch and Script” and the Impartiality Committee for Certi-Trust.

Faith’s previous contributions to ISACA Kenya include service on the education committee and as Board of Director, Special Programs.
