We are pleased to announce a new membership category at ANZCHAM Philippines to give opportunity for more people to join our ever-growing community. The Alumni Membership will be launched this coming 28 May 2021, 3:30-4:30 p.m. during our FREE webinar where you can know more about how to become part of the Chamber under this category.


Alongside this, we are also launching our first initiative in partnership with the Australian Alumni Communities Philippines:the Sustainability Hackathon. The Hackathon is about looking for a product or service that promotes Sustainability in the Built Environment, Cities and Communities which has a self-sustaining business model and has the potential for scalability. Ideally, it would be an idea that can already be started during the lockdown and which we can continue even after.


2020 James Dyson Award winner Carvey Maigue will be the guest speaker and he will inspire us to champion sustainable solutions to social and economic problems in the midst of a pandemic and even beyond.

    Carvey Maigue

    Carvey Ehren R. Maigue - Born and raised in the province of Rizal. He graduated high school in Siena College Taytay, where he first fell in love with research. He took up Electrical Engineering in Mapua University and became a part of the Mapua Robotics Team. To help his mom finance his studies, he works as a freelance prototype developer for other students and startups locally and abroad. He joined the James Dyson Awards in 2018 but fell short in reaching the National Awards. He continued to develop his invention and rejoined in 2020 and became the first sustainability award winner. Drawing inspiration from his role models - Sir James Dyson and Arunanchalam Muruganantham a.k.a “Padman”, Carvey is currently developing his invention AuREUS into a startup, because he believes that the invention is only halfway of the journey, the goal is for the invention to reach and be used by the people it was made for.
