Hello Members, Partners and Local Employers!

In an effort to meet your needs and build dynamic chamber programs we have identified the need for an active Human Resource Council within the chamber membership. We need YOUR input to develop the council and create a map for future programs, networking and activities.


On April 5 our normal monthly member meeting will be a kick-off for the new HR Council. The event will be held at Walnut Creek Foods (3850 OH-39, Millersburg, OH 44654 – NOT Walnut Creek Cheese), on the 2nd floor in the Muenster Room.


The timing of the meeting will be a little different as we will be hosting a speaker, lunch, and brainstorming session. The meeting will begin at 12:30 with boxed lunch followed by a dynamic presentation by Mike Lauber. Mike is owner and CEO of Tusco Display in Gnadenhutten (southern Tusc. County). Mike and his team have developed a system of non-traditional hours and he will be sharing their story with our folks.

We will then have a brief question and answer panel with representatives from our local high schools and career centers and, finally, a brainstorming session and open forum to discuss the make-up of the HR Council including education, certifications, job recruitment tools and other topics.


Our lunch will catered by Mudd Valley Café and will be boxed sandwich options. Special thank you to Walnut Creek foods for hosting the meeting delivering lunch.
