Are You Ready for Public Service Boards?

Our WGOB Speaker Series connects, promotes, and empowers women on boards and we are often asked by our members how you navigate your way onto a Public Sector board? Public Sector boards – at the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government each – offer exciting and rewarding opportunities to gain exposure to complex governance and business issues. Are you ready to elevate your board experience to a Crown corporation, agency and committee?

We will have experienced directors that are well versed in Public-Sector boards and an executive board recruiter specializing in the public sector share their insights. You will learn the how-to from the application to the interview process and the issues that are unique to this sector before you consider if you are ready to serve on Public Service boards.
