About the Event

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce is organizing a breakfast seminar pertaining to Artificial Intelligence in the Logistics Industry on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Plaza Mayor​ (4 Sun Street, Wan Chai) from 8 - 9:30 am. We have the pleasure of having Mr Kevin Pereira​, Managing Director of Blu Artificial Intelligence and part-time lecturer at HKU who will lead the talk. A light breakfast is included and will be served during the seminar. This event is organized by the Logistics Committee at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and under the Spain Means Business initiative, exploring business synergies where Spain and Hong Kong are leading the way.

About the Speaker

Mr. Kevin Pereira​ is the Managing Director at Blu Artificial Intelligence and part-time lecturer at HKU. Growing up in Hong Kong, Mr Pereira attended university in the US and worked at Citi in New York. Upon returning to Hong Kong, Mr Pereira worked for Bank of New York Mellon's Asset Management business and further pursued an MBA. Mr Pereira's passion and work in consulting and startups have led him to be a major contributor to the AI knowledge base at Blu Artificial Intelligence. Mr Pereira is an active speaker and collaborator for articles discussing the applications and ethicial implications of AI across industries and society as a whole.
