The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) would like to invite you to the upcoming:
Asian Development Bank
Asia and The Pacific Transport Forum 2024
on May 14-17, 2024
in Manila, Philippines
The Asia and the Pacific Transport Forum 2024 will be hosted by ADB in its headquarters in Manila, on 14 to 15 May, with capacity-development training events held on 16 and 17 May. This biennial event will focus on ADB as the climate bank, and how the transport sector can decarbonize as well as ensure climate resilience of transport infrastructure.
The focus of the 2024 forum will be on ADB's transport sector support and assistance in areas such as climate change and sustainable development, with transport firmly placed as an enabler of development. Other key corporate agendas on gender, social development, and digitalization will be covered alongside sector specific topics such as rail, urban transport, smart mobility, road safety, and road system operations.
The key objective of the 2024 Transport Forum is for ADB to showcase its technical and financial assistance, and for developing member country (DMC) officials to gain broader understanding of emerging solutions for the transport sector issues facing the region. The event is also an opportunity for ADB to showcase the ADB Transport Sector Directional Guide to support the DMCs' objective to "build forward better" across the region.
