The Theme for this year's ACEF: Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition and Ensuring Energy Security and Affordability – Time for Urgent Action Now

The Asia Clean Energy Forum 2024 (ACEF) is a long-standing and influential gathering in Asia and the Pacific, it will take place against the backdrop of a complex global energy landscape. Challenges include fiscal constraints, high borrowing costs, and market disruptions due to regional imbalances and geopolitical tensions. Leading international energy organizations emphasize the urgent need for clean energy investments within this decade to align with the Paris Agreement goals. Blended finance solutions and concessional financing are essential for facilitating these investments in Asia and the Pacific. Governments and the private sector must rethink energy systems and policies to attract private sector investment. ACEF serves as a regional flagship forum where clean energy practitioners share insights and experiences in designing and implementing sustainable energy solutions. The event aims to accelerate the clean energy transition, enhance energy security, and promote affordability through urgent action and collaboration.
