COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This four-day course is designed to cover foundational concepts and processes for effective management of public service continuity (PSC), a variation of business continuity, in the event of disruptions, as well as basic considerations for auditing implemented PSC programs in organizations.


COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Understand public service continuity management (PSCM) and its importance to viability of public sector organizations
  • Understand and familiarize with key activities in PSCM, including how such activities are performed
  • Gain appreciation of what an effective PSCM is, and how audits should be planned and executed to evaluate the extent of PSCM effectiveness as implemented

TARGET PARTICIPANTS:



The seminar is especially designed for government employees from NGAs, GOCCs/GFIs, LGUs and SUCs, particularly those assigned in the internal audit, accounting, finance, treasury, budget, asset management, general services, human resource management, corporate planning, operations systems developers, procurement, legal, etc.

Those in the private sector especially those who have contracts/transactions with government or intend to transact or do business with government are encouraged to attend this training course.
