Event Details

Join us on March 26th for a discussion with Misha Zelinsky, a Fulbright Scholar, economist, lawyer, and author, about his novel, The Sun Will Rise.

From 2022 to 2023, Misha extensively covered Russia's invasion of Ukraine as a war correspondent for The Australian Financial Review. The Sun Will Rise, a work of fiction inspired by true events, is a call to action about the ideological stakes of the conflict and why democracies must unite or fall alone.

The event will feature a Q&A session, so be sure to read the book and come prepared with your questions!

Why is this Important for Arizona?

In talking about the War in Ukraine and his book, Mr. Zelinsky said, "I can't think of a clearer good versus evil conflict in my lifetime… This is a hinge moment in history. People will either look back and say this was the start of something much worse or the moment when the dictator's club failed."
