Event Details
With the Probation Department's new model, Enhanced Outcome-Based Supervision, probation continues to advance evidence-based practices to promote positive behavior change for probation clients. Probation Officers are now utilizing the risk needs assessment tools to assist probation clients in successfully completing their probation terms while changing their behaviors that lead to involvement in criminal activity. This may lead to enhanced services and, importantly, significant early termination. This new model may also significantly affect the advice practitioners provide their clients.
