МІСІЯ

Best Buddies Ukraine - це проект, що через розвиток волонтерського руху створює можливості для дружби один на один, інтегрованої зайнятості, розвитку лідерства та інклюзивного життя для людей з інтелектуальною інвалідністю та порушеннями розвитку (ІІПР).

КОМУ МИ СЛУЖИМО

Спільнота людей з ІІПР, якою опікується Best Buddies, включає (але не обмежується цими категоріями) людей із синдромом Дауна, аутизмом, синдромом тендітної Х-хромосоми, синдромом Вільямса, ДЦП, травмами мозку та іншими недіагностованими формами інвалідності.

ПРОГРАМИ

Best Buddies International - найбільша у світі організація, що присвячена припиненню соціальної, фізичної та економічної ізоляції 200 мільйонів людей з інтелектуальною інвалідністю та порушеннями розвитку (ІІПР). Наші програми розширюють можливості людей із ІІПР, допомагаючи їм налагоджувати значущі дружні стосунки з однолітками, отримувати успішне працевлаштування, жити незалежно, вдосконалювати навички публічних виступів, само-адвокації і спілкування та відчувати, що їх цінує суспільство.

Best Buddies Ukraine and NGO "Bachyty Sertsem" are hosting an Open House event to introduce the organization to the wider Kyiv community, form strategic partnerships and bring awareness to the movement.

MISSION

Best Buddies Ukraine is a project dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

WHO WE SERVE

The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities.

PROGRAMS

Best Buddies International is the world's largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
