Brought to you by Meet the World Image Solutions, the Black History Month Literary Weekend is an annual event that showcases traditionally published, self-published, local, and independent authors. We also introduce young adults to a whole new literary world while exposing them to a part of Black History beyond what they learn in school. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, what would have been our fifth annual celebration is now our first virtual celebration.

This year we will feature 11 local and national authors during a day-long event featuring live musical entertainment, prizes, author interviews, and, of course, our annual 8th and 9th grade essay contest. Although we are unable to come together in person, the Black History Month Literary Weekend will still bring the upscale, inspirational, fun celebration attendees have come to love. Thank you for being a part of this amazing event!
