According to a report by the World Bank in June 2019, Myanmar's economy looks positive, with growth projected to increase to 6.7% by 2020/21. Growth in Myanmar will be supported through building reform momentum and planned large infrastructure projects etc. What's more, some of the recent reform actions includes allowing commercial banks to lend at 16% interest without collateral and allowing foreign banks to operate in Myanmar.
