Doctoral (Ph.D) degree in Political Science from Ohio State University (USA, 2012) with research on the multi-party system and presidential politics. Previously, a Master's degree (MA) from the same university (2007) and Gadjah Mada University (Yogyakarta, 2005).

In 2012, Djayadi was a research fellow on presidential democracy and multi-party systems at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, United States. As a political scientist, Djayadi conducts intensive research on politics, democracy and political parties. He shares his ideas through national and international mass media and other scholarly publications. His doctoral thesis "Making Presidentialism Work: Legislative and Executive Interactions in Indonesian Democracy" has been published in the Indonesian language and published by Mizan in 2014.

Currently, in addition to being the Executive Director of the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), Djayadi is the Head of the Ph.D. in Political Science Program at the International Islamic University of Indonesia (UIII). Previously, he was the Executive Director of Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) from 2015 to 2019.

Djayadi has been conducting research and academic studies for a long time. He served as the Director of Research, Training, and Consultation (DPPK) at Paramadina University (February 2006-August 2007); Senior Program Officer and Legislative Strengthening Program Consultant at The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) Indonesia; Consultant for Strengthening Local Government Programs at the World Bank Institute (WBI) and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation; and facilitator for the Association of Regional Representative Councils (Adkasi) in all districts of Indonesia.

Prior to founding Public Affairs consulting firm PT Komunikasi Kinerja (Kiroyan Partners) in November 2006 that he currently serves as Executive Chairman & Chief Consultant, Noke Kiroyan has been an international business executive for over three decades. Previously he was CEO of Kiroyan Partners from its establishment until he stepped down in 2018.

Currently, Noke Kiroyan is Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (ICC), the international business organization headquartered in Paris, Vice Chairman of the Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia (KEMITRAAN) and Jury Member of the annual SNI Awards organized by the National Standardization Agency (BSN).

He has held chief executive positions at PT Siemens Indonesia, Salim Deutschland GmbH, Salim Oleochemicals Inc. in the United States, Rio Tinto Indonesia, PT Newmont Pacific Nusantara and PT Kaltim Prima Coal when it was jointly owned by Rio Tinto and BP. His other previous roles included being Commissioner of PT Agincourt Resources, PT Bis Industries and Senior Advisor to Bain & Company Indonesia.

Noke Kiroyan graduated from a two-year apprenticeship with Siemens AG in Germany as Industriekaufmann, signifying competence in commerce and finance for industrial companies under German law. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Padjadjaran University in Bandung and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. He graduated as Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Syracuse University and MBA from York St. John University.

Ian Betts is Director for Southeast Asia at Hill & Associates, Country Manager for Indonesia and Leader for the company's Risk Intelligence service line. He has 30 years of experience in and associated with Indonesia and Asia and has been described as one of the region’s leading analysts.

After ten years in business consultancy in Jakarta, Ian joined Hill & Associates in 2007 to lead the company’s Risk Intelligence Service in Indonesia. He served as Country Manager there from 2010 to 2014 when he relocated to London in January 2015 as Global Head of Risk Analysis for G4S Risk Consulting.

In January 2017 Ian returned to Southeast Asia to lead the company’s operations in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the broader Mekong sub-region from Bangkok. In 2021 his duties expanded to cover Indonesia once more, resuming his role there as President Director and returning to the country in June of that year. As leader of Hill & Associates’ Risk Intelligence service, Ian also manages a team of analysts based in countries throughout the region.

A published author in Indonesia, Ian provides expertise on a broad spectrum of risk and security areas. Fluent in Danish and Indonesian, he has a Bachelor of Arts in the Humanities and a Master’s degree in International Studies.

Ian's candidacy is supported by a long history of interaction with, and service to, British companies. He has also engaged with many of Britain's ambassadors to Indonesia on risk and security matters as well as supported bilateral relations through presentations made to Indonesian embassies abroad, notably in London.
