George Berry was born in the country of Honduras and raised in Compton, California.
He is a well-known and highly respected Business Entrepreneur in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. He is also an Iraqi War Veteran who spent 8 years serving our country in the Army.
Today George serves the Hampton Roads community by being the “go to” person and craftsman for the intermodal industry as a vocal and avid advocate for professional truckers in the region.

He utilizes his social media platform to provide free and highly valuable Stock Market information and training to ensure that everyone that he knows gets access to
education to improve their financial livelihoods. George understands the need and answers the call to being a leader and advocate for growth and change in the community by serving on the Board of Directors for Black BRAND corporate Chamber of Commerce as Parliamentarian.

Arrington Gavin was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. While Arrington was growing up, he developed facial hair at a young age. By the time Arrington was fourteen years old, he had a full beard. By the time he went to high school, Arrington had to battle with his private high school about his facial hair, which he won. The only time he was cleaned shaved was for his high school graduation. Soon after high school graduation, Arrington started growing his beard. Since Arrington has a passion for the human body, he always had a burning desire to help individuals accomplish their personal goals by living a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness.
In 2017, Arrington graduated from Chowan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wellness, Recreation, and Sport. During college, Arrington began experimenting with various products. After examining some products, Arrington notice that the market was missing an all-natural ingredient products. Arrington is a huge advocate of natural products, especially face base products. Arrington started doing some research for the key ingredients for his beard in 2016, and began to share his findings with his family and friends. As months passed, Arrington discovered a significant difference with this beard.
Arrington watched his beard evolve from dry and rough to soft, smooth, and manageable. The results of Arrington’s beard helped name his company, Rugged Evolution Beard Care. In August, 2017, Arrington launched his company with a goal of creating a beard care line of products that he could make available to other men of distinction.
Fast forward to 2018, Rugged Evolution achieved major success. The company had a star-studded launch party and was chosen as a brand to watch in Essence Magazine’s December 2018 Gift Guide, the beard care line was ranked fourth for holiday gifts for men in the Essence Online Magazine. Currently, Rugged Evolution is located in four local retail stores, Walmart online, Amazon, We Buy Black, and Etsy. Not only is Arrington Gavin the CEO of Rugged Evolution, he has launched other businesses.
In 2019, Arrington created the Rugged Evolution Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to serve the community with our time, talents and resources. The foundation partners with other local organizations to support causes that have a great impact on our local youth. Before the school year, the foundation donate schools supplies and necessary tools to provide for grade levels K-12 throughout Hampton Roads Virginia. Paving the way for tomorrow’s leaders through our contributions today.
In 2020, Arrington created the R Smooth Club podcast, where everyday men discuss everyday topics. This year, Arrington launched Rugged Evo trucking company.
2021 has already proven it will be another awesome year. So look out for Rugged Evolution and its young CEO. Because as their slogan says, “Rugged IS the new Smooth”.

Mark is the Vice President & Community Development Manager at SunTrust, now Truist. In this role, Mr. Johnson is responsible for overseeing the Community Development activities in the state of Virginia.
An exemplary steward of community service and champion of philanthropic efforts in the Hampton Roads community, he is consistently working to align the bank with charitable organizations and initiatives that promote positive change within the community. Mark’s continued efforts have been recognized through several awards, such as the Hampton Roads Inside Business Top 100 Power List - the people who shape and influence Hampton Roads, the Urban League of Hampton Roads Silver Star and MLK Community Leader Awards, which recognizes leaders who have made a difference in their communities; the SunTrust Bank Performance Excellence Award, which recognizes the outstanding performance of teammates in both sales and non-sales roles who demonstrate exceptional achievements in support of the bank’s guiding principles (the first professional in his position to receive the award); the National Association of Leadership Program’s Distinguished Leadership Award, which recognizes exemplary service and commitment to the community (only 1 of 15 professionals that received the award across the country in 2015) and the Hampton Roads Community Action Program’s Community Builder’s Award (given to recipients based upon their proven track record of outstanding leadership, exemplary service and advocacy for positive change). Mark was also the lead visionary in the creation, planning, and organization of SunTrust Bank, Hampton Roads first annual of Diversity and Inclusion Awards Celebration in the Greater Hampton Roads Community in 2011 and led the effort that brought the cast members of the hit nineties TV show A Different World, which emphasized the value of higher education and the value of HBCUs – Historically Black Colleges and Universities to Norfolk State University in April of 2015.
Prior to his arrival to the Hampton Roads area, Mark made significant inroads in the Buffalo, New York, and Washington, DC, metro areas. He received the 40 under 40 Award from Business First Magazine in his role at United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, the Trailblazer Award from the Buffalo Educational Alliance, and the John H. Garber, Jr., Award from United Way of Worldwide (formerly United Way of America) – one of the youngest United Way Professionals to ever receive this particular honor.
In a 2017 and 2018 leadership endeavor, Mark was a Co-Chair of the Hampton Roads UNCF Mayors’ Masked Ball in Norfolk, VA. More than 800 people attended both events that raised over $200,000 to support scholarship efforts within the Hampton Roads community.
Mark serves on number of boards and committees, including, Life Enrichment Center of Norfolk, American Diabetes Association, WHRO, LISC Richmond and Hampton Roads Advisory Boards, Tidewater Community College Education Foundation Board, Hampton Roads Workforce Council (Co-Chair of the Board), the VA UNCF Advisory Council, the Green Run Collegiate Foundation Board and the Hampton Roads Chamber Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DE&I)
Mark resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Shonder, and his two children Imajae’ and Mark II. He is a graduate of Canisius College, in Buffalo, NY, and the ExecuStep Program, United Way Worldwide, formerly United Way of America.

Pat A. Tamakloe, Ph.D. (“Dr. PAT”) is the President/Chief Executive Officer of GLOBAL REACH Leadership Institute, a Business Leadership Strategy Consulting and Training firm, and the founder of Tamakloe & Co, LLC, a leadership literature enterprise based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As an organizational leadership expert, he has worked with a myriad of leaders and corporate executives, from startups and small businesses to a franchise organization in the United States (US).
He is a business strategist, certified speaker, executive coach and mentor, team-trainer, author, and C-Suite Network Advisor.
