Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
1. Describe the two main aspects of compassion and its impact on affect regulation.
2. Describe the impact of gender and culture on common misconceptions of compassion and apply a clinical intervention to decrease fears, blocks, and resistance (FBRs).
3. Apply three compassion-oriented interventions to help clients improve affective regulation and resilience.
Approved for 2 hours of general continuing education credits.
