Event Details
Sundowners are the flagship business networking events of AustCham Lao, widely regarded as key opportunities for fostering connections between the Lao and Australian business communities. Held monthly, these events bring together influential members from all sectors to exchange ideas and build relationships.
In collaboration with the Australian Embassy in Laos we endeavor to expand the Sundowner series to the southern provinces of Laos, targeting two of the largest regions in the country, kicking off with Pakse, Champassak.
This initiative aims to showcase investment opportunities in the southern regions, with a special focus on agricultural ventures.
Additionally, the event will offer AustCham an opportunity to expand its membership base in these provinces, with Costa Berry Lao recently joining us as a gold member.
By expanding to southern Laos, AustCham strives to help drive Australian business growth and solidify Australia's presence across growing economic regions of Laos.
The event will consist of two main components:
1) A 1-hour Business Briefing Panel Discussion.
Topic: Exploring business opportunities in Southern Laos, with an emphasis on agricultural investments.
For this part, AustCham Members, various industry sectors, the LNCCI and government representatives will be invited.
2) A Sundowner Networking Event on the rooftop of the Pakse Hotel. This part will serve as an informal setting for networking, bringing together diverse groups.
