Join us for a free, virtual Lunch & Learn titled "Business Financials 101," featuring guest speaker Carolyn Donaldson of PNC Bank who will discuss the different financial documents small businesses need and strategies for preparing financial documents for your small business. Donaldson will also discuss PNC Bank's various programs and services that support small business owners with preparing financial documents.


This session will cover:

  • Preparation Strategies: Practical tips and best practices for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring your financial documents meet regulatory requirements and help in strategic decision-making.

    Carolyn Donaldson is Vice President and Minority Business Development Relationship Manager/Business Development Officer at PNC Bank.

    She is responsible for strategically targeting and focusing on expanding working capital, business products and services predominantly in PNC’s Minority populated territories. She covers the states of Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina by building relationships with Minority Business Owners/Entrepreneurs.

    Carolyn has been in the Financial Services industry for over 25 years which her experience includes: Leadership, Consumer and Business Lending, Branch Manager, Small Business Bank Liaison, Operations Manager, Community Development, CRA Coordinator, Mortgage Originator and Processor.

    Carolyn is proficient with Business Development focusing on specialized industries that enable business owners to obtain working capital to help expand and drive business opportunities.
    Carolyn is the bridge between PNC Bank and non-profits/for-profits organizations; to bring increased knowledge and education about working capital, and grassroots banking to Minority and Multi-Cultural communities that align with Diversity and Inclusion to accommodate accessibility.
    Additionally, a PNC Certified Minority Business Advocate, and a PNC Certified Women’s Business Advocate. Having both certifications clearly show the dedication and passion Carolyn has for her community.

    Carolyn earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Edward Waters University an HBCU. Also, she earned a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. Both Degrees with Honors. Carolyn is a voice for the voiceless by being passionate about educating and proactively assisting Minority Business Owners.
