Parenting an ADHD child, teen or young adult can be a very challenging journey. Not knowing how to support them, feeling overwhelmed, regularly helpless and at a lost, are common emotions parents experience.


SPARK has collaborated with Caregivers Alliance to bring you their flagship Caregivers to Caregivers Training Program especially for parents of ADHD children and teens, called C2C.



3 main learning areas will be:

  1. A better understanding of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, depression, psychosis etc.
  2. Improve problem-solving and communication skills.
  3. Learn coping strategies to journey with your ADHD child/teen.

The 12-week program will cover:

Holistic view of mental health and caregiving;

Mental health crisis intervention and management;

Mental health conditions;

The brain and medication;

Problem-solving framework;

Practicing empathy;

Effective communication;

Mental health recovery and resilience;

Mental health rehabilitation;

The importance of self-care;

Stigma and mental health advocacy;

Graduation.


(Please note that a min number is required for this course to proceed. It will be run on Zoom.)

Session dates: Tuesdays 7pm, 19, 26 April, 10, 17, 24, 31 May, 7, 14, 21, 28 June, 5, 12 July.
