Event Details

This webinar will provide an overview of three areas of communication for case management practice. Communication is essential to the therapeutic alliance, client engagement, and successful outcomes. Types of empathy and interpretation will be presented and guidelines for how to employment these communication skills will be discussed. Confrontation will be examined and ways to confront clients will be reviewed.


At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Define and explain two types of empathy.

2. Describe and employ two types of interpretations.

3. Understand the role and application of confrontation.
