The City of Detroit has recently introduced its Neighborhood Solar Initiative, aimed at transforming primarily vacant lots in Detroit neighborhoods into clean energy production sites. This initiative is a key component of the City's broader sustainability goals. The pilot program will launch in three neighborhoods: Gratiot/Findlay, Van Dyke/Lynch, and State Fair. We invite you to join us for a vital discussion on Wednesday, August 21st, at 10 a.m. Tepfirah Rushdan, Director of the City of Detroit's Office of Sustainability, along with several community partners, will be present to discuss this new initiative.

We will also have a brief presentation on the Michigan Central Station. We will also get an update on the Child Tax Credit work led by United Way.

This meeting is in-person at TechTown!
