Although climate change affects us all, the impacts are not shared equally. Residents in vulnerable Michigan regions feel the most significant impacts of climate change- often due to discriminatory policies and planning.

Participants will explore how decades of public disinvestment, government-promoted segregation, and inequitable economic development have combined to generate a climate crisis. We will also explore programs and policies meant to improve climate equity and highlight organizations making strategic change.
