Jody Slingluff, Senior Design and VP of Strategic Accounts is responsible for providing three-dimensional marketing solutions to a wide range of clients, to mention a few, Johnson and Johnson, Yamaha Musical, Mead Johnson Nutritional's, General Electric, Kumho Tire, Alcoa and Nike.
In this presentation, Jody will discuss how color, texture, and lighting technology have evolved into a new design medium in tradeshow, events, hospitality, transportation, home interiors, medical, and many more industries and applications. He will share examples of how lighting, color, and textures can be combined in ways to create illusions, motion, and even affect human moods. He will also explore how technology, using LEDs and new lighting techniques are affecting our everyday life at work, home, and when traveling and how they can be used in designs. He will discuss the future of color and lighting and trends that are evolving with technology and artificial intelligence.
Jody Slingluff started his design career, as an architectural designer, designing large custom homes, and restaurant interiors. He developed architectural rendering and illustrations skills and this background led to his 36 years in the event and tradeshow industry. He still has a passion for designing homes and illustrating and is the owner of Aviate121.5 Design, specializing in residential design and architectural and real estate illustration. Jody is an active executive board member of the Color Marketing Group and a member for 14 years. He is the father of 4 grown children, 3 of whom are triplets. In his spare time, he enjoys his love of flying, riding his horse, and spending time with his family and recent grandchildren.
