IRTBA has earned a well-deserved reputation as the voice of the transportation design and construction industry in Illinois - largely through the work of its talented members on committees.

IRTBA set a goal to increase member involvement on IRTBA committees over the last several years. You answered the call: member interest in committee participation has doubled! Let's keep it going!

Make the most of your membership by serving on an IRTBA Committee in 2024.

With almost 40 committees and subcommittees to choose from, you will have unparalleled opportunities to network with fellow members and to meet with agency heads, giving input on important policy decisions, agency specifications, best practices, and more – all to advance the industry and ultimately your own businesses.

Points to Keep in Mind:

• Only one person from a particular company will be appointed to any one committee - so please coordinate with others in your organization
• Enter your requests for committee appointments in order of preference. For example, the primary choice will be your first choice, the secondary will be your second choice etc.
• Enter your request for up to a maximum of five committees. Please note, it is mandatory to put three choices, as it cannot be guaranteed that you will receive your first choice.

• We'll do the best we can to accommodate requests, but committee assignments are in high demand and choices are not guaranteed.
