Invitation to the Conference Launch of Smarter Philippines through Data Science and Analytics, R&D, Training and Adoption (SPARTA)

Dear Sir/Madam:

We are pleased to invite you in the project launch conference of Smarter Philippines through Data Science and Analytics, R&D, Training and Adoption (SPARTA) on 24 February 2020 at The Eye, Green Sun Hotel in Makati City. Project SPARTA is being implemented by the DAP, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD). SPARTA aims to put in place the necessary online education, research and development mechanisms and infrastructure to not only enable the industry of data science and analytics but also to advance smart governance practices.

The conference intends to officially launch project SPARTA, gather a mix of collaborators and steer partnerships with local government units (LGUs), state universities and colleges (SUCs) and other relevant stakeholders in massive open online courses (MOOCS), learning pathways and open data initiatives.
