WORKSHOP
Corporate Credit Risk Management
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A bank's assets are predominantly made up of credit assets, with more than two thirds
of outstanding loans and investments deployed to corporate borrowers
and institutional securities issuers. Prudent corporate credit analysis and risk
management is not only a minimum regulatory expectation from banks and
lending institutions, but also is an essential enabler to achieving its long-term
business objectives, while also aiding in safeguarding fiduciary funds such as
deposits that are used to fund these loans.
This course aims to equip participants with the foundational aspects of corporate
credit, enabling them to further understand corporate credit risk management
processes and practices, while prioritizing the key areas of importance when it
