view moreStarting with 26 July 2021, Dr. Miljana Grbic holds the position of WHO Representative and Head of the WHO Office in the Republic of Moldova.
Dr. Grbic has extensive experience in medicine and public health, taught surgery and orthopedics at the University of Pristina, Serbia, and worked in health prevention and promotion.
In the work of the UN, she has worked in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams, in many areas related to health and development, human rights, social determinants of health, refugees and other vulnerable groups.
Dr Miljana Grbic has been working for the WHO since 2002, first as a consultant and since 2013 as Head of the WHO Office for Serbia. Starting with 10 October 2016, Dr Miljana Grbic took over the position of Head of the WHO Office in Romania, and since 2018 as a WHO Representative in Romania. Thus, she has contributed to the implementation of numerous initiatives that reflect WHO and national priorities, in particular with regard to communicable and non-communicable diseases, environment, strengthening the health system, emergency response.Vasile Gustiuc

Guștiuc a mai activat în calitate de medic-șef al Centrului de Sănătate Publică Orhei. Dl.Gustiuc deține titlul de Master în Sănătate Publică, dar și categoria superioară în specialităţile Management sanitar şi Igienă generală. Totodată, printre activitățile sale profesionale se regăsește participarea la elaborarea unui studiu global referitor la fumat în rândul adolescenților, activitate în domeniul studiilor demografice, dar și consultanța în cadrul unor proiecte internaționale.
