Join us in-person or online to learn from and network with our hand-picked lineup of outstanding startups, as well as top crypto investors, traders, institutions, solution and infrastructure providers and other crypto experts.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

After a very successful Crypto Salon at Bonny Doon in October, we will soon be hosting our flagship Crypto Workshop, in hybrid form! It will be nice to see everyone in the mountains (or online).

What does it take to succeed (and stay successful) in today's explosive, nauseously volatile, ultra-competitive, multi-dimensional, factionalized, politicized, geo-politicized, opportunistic world of Crypto? Certainly it's not enough just to be first mover, or to be smart, or to have a great idea. Certainly the prerequisites for success seem to keep piling up -- technical expertise, a quant bent, market savvy, the right legal structure and regulatory sense, timing, luck . . . . And what about the shade that some are throwing on Web 3.0? We will try to cast illumination on these questions, and many others.

As usual, there is too much to cover so we can only pick a few top startups and a few key topics to highlight. We have interviewed many excellent startup/project candidates, and we have confirmed the 13 exciting ones listed above across a spectrum of business models, with 2 more to come.

The other half of the program will consist of 5 subject matter discussion panels below, with many industry luminaries speaking:

The in-person Workshop will be held at my mountain retreat in Bonny Doon, near Santa Cruz. Those of you who have come before know that it is a beautiful natural environment, ideal for relaxed discussions. We are located in a clearing in the redwood forest, with gardens and orchards, and overlooking my pond. Socializing will be enhanced by lots of breaks, walks around the pond, and at the end of the day, a wine and beer reception, live music and a hearty dinner.

In order to allow time for networking during the main event, we will be asking the startups to make their long-form presentations online on during the week of April 4, in advance of the main event. All attendees will have the opportunity to watch these presentations live or thru video recordings, and then one person from each startup will be asked to attend in-person, make a brief demo and answer questions during main event

In-person attendance will be limited to about 40 persons (other than the speakers).

Online attendees will have access to all the presentations through Zoom. We will be using a production crew, with cameras, monitors, speakers and microphones in the main meeting room to broadcast the program online and permit remote presenters to participate. Online attendees will be able to ask questions through the Zoom chat function. Presentations will be recorded and made available to all attendees.

IN VIEW OF COVID-19, FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR ATTENDEES AND YOUR PEACE OF MIND WE WILL BE ASKING ALL IN-PERSON ATTENDEES TO PROVIDE US WITH PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Looking forward to seeing you at Bonny Doon (or online)!

regards
