KBA in partnership with CIS Kenya has organized a workshop on Data & Consumer Protection in the wake of regulatory Actions to be held on 23rd & 24th January 2024 in Nairobi. It will be facilitated by, Credit Information Sharing Association of Kenya (CIS Kenya), PwC and the Office of The Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC). In the past year penalties and enforcement notices were a concerning reality for organizations in addition to the reputation risk that they are exposed to.

This workshop will bring together Data Protection Officers, Customer Experience Managers, Credit Managers and Audit Managers to share insights on nature of complaints received in the banking sector as well as those lodged with the ODPC. This workshop seeks to ensure banks are responsive to consumer complaints and that they address the underlying issues that bring about such complaints.
