Nolitha Fakude is the Chairperson of Anglo American’s Management Board in South Africa as
well as the Group Director responsible for South Africa on Anglo American plc’s Group
Management Committee (GMC). Nolitha has recently joined the Anglo American Platinum Board
as a Non-Executive Director and previously served on the Board of Anglo American plc from 2017
to 2019.
She has worked in and held senior executive positions in various industries and sectors including
Retail, Financial Services, Mining and Oil and Gas. Until 2016, Fakude served as an Executive
Director at Sasol Limited and Executive Vice President (EVP) of Strategy and Sustainability.
Nolitha was the President of the Black Management Forum (BMF) from 2003 to 2006 and its
Managing Director between 2000 and 2003. She now serves as a member of the Council of
Elders, and is a respected authority on transformation and empowerment in South Africa.
Current Nolitha serves as the President of the Minerals Council of South Africa (MINCOSA),
Non-Executive Director of the JSE Limited, Discovery Bank Holdings and International Woman’s
Forum South Africa (IWFSA). She is a Patron of Guild Cottage home for girls.
Her previous board roles include serving as Deputy Chair and Lead Independent Director of
Datacentrix Holdings Limited, Chairperson of Sasol Mining and as a Non-Executive Director of
Harmony Gold Mines and Woolworths Holdings, amongst others.
Her accolades include: The 2004 Most Influential Businesswoman by Financial Mail, Impala
Platinum Young Entrepreneur Award and the National Honor by the Golden Key Society of the
University of Johannesburg.
Nolitha is an author of a book titled, “Boardroom Dancing – Transformation stories from a
Corporate Activist”, published in 2019.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Fort Hare and
completed the Senior Executive Programme at Harvard Business School in the United States.

Her personal accolades include having served as the President of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa and a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum. The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants rated her among the Top 35 CAs under 35. Mail & Guardian recognised her among the Top 200 Young South Africans and Destiny magazine ranked her among the Top 40 women under the age of 40.

President and CEO of National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) based in USA

Guylaine Saint Juste joined the NABA team as President and Chief Executive Officer, on February 1st, 2021. She is a corporate officer of the Board of Directors and leads all aspects of the organization.


Guylaine joins NABA from Year Up, a nonprofit organization that provides students of color the opportunity to experience careers in business and technology. As of 2020 she served as Managing Director, Employer of Influence Strategy. Prior to that appointment, she led the Mid Atlantic Market as the Executive Director of the National Capital Region.

Guylaine is a passionate and spirited leader who believes that a culture of belonging is instrumental to high performance and growth. An activist at heart, Guy is tackling colorism in the workforce, the “4 year degree required” for entry level to middle skills jobs, pedigree as a barrier to entry for opportunity youth, and the inter-dependency of equity and economic mobility, just to name a few.

Under her leadership, Year Up National Capital Region grew from serving over 240 students in 2015 to almost 500 young adults by the end of 2019. The organization increased its revenue generation by over 30%, improved performance in every key areas, grew its corporate partnerships base from 36 to 52, and developed a best in class board and leadership team to guide and lead the organization.

Prior to joining Year Up, Guy served as the Business Banking Virginia Market Executive at Capital One Bank where she led the development of a new start-up region. She counts 3 decades of experience in the Financial Services industry in senior and executive roles.

Guy holds an Associate’s Degree from Northern Virginia Community College, a Bachelor’s degree from George Mason University, a Graduate Degree in Retail Banking Management from the University of Virginia, and holds SHRM-SCP and CAE certifications.

She currently serves as an appointed commissioner to the Arlington Economic Development Authority, and has served on numerous boards to include DC Goodwill, Adventure Theatre, Fairfax YMCA, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Stafford, Loudon and Prince William County, the YMCA, DC Goodwill, and was the inaugural co-chair of Mason Women Business Consortium and the President and co-founder of the Women Alliance for Financial Education. She is a co-author of the International Bestseller, “Turn Possibilities Into Realities: Experts Bridge The Gap From What If…To What Is”.

Bio of Ms Judi Nwokedi

Ms Judi Nwokedi is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Director of Tourvest Holdings. Prior to that, she was the senior vice president of Areva, the leading global nuclear energy generation company, and she remains the President of the South African Nuclear New Build Company.
Previously, Judi was the Managing Director of Motorola South Africa, and prior to that held the position of Managing Director of the SABC’s public broadcasting. In addition, Ms Judi was responsible for conceptualizing and launching LoveLife, the internationally renowned youth HIV/AIDS prevention programme.

In Exile 1982 - 1994
Judi worked for the Australian Government as a development strategist for the New South Wales Department of Sports, an advisor to the Australian Correctional Services and National HIV/AIDS programme in the Department of Housing and Community Affairs. And, was a research advisor to the five judges appointed to the Royal Commission into Aboriginal deaths in custody.
Ms Judi holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Town and has been certified in a number of courses from the University of Sydney, Harvard University, and the Gordon Institute of Business Science. She serves on numerous Boards. And is the outgoing Secretary General of the Black Business Council
