In her role as Permanent Representative to the African Union Mission in Washington DC, Her Excellency Arikana Chihombori Quao MD worked tirelessly towards fulfilling her mandate which was to undertake, develop and maintain relationships between the African Union and the Executive and Legislative branches of the US Government, the African Diplomatic Corps, the Africans in the Diaspora and the Bretton Woods Institutions. This was specifically in relation to the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and advancing the priority areas of Agenda 2063. In fulfilling this Mandate, she brought renewed energy to the AU Mission as well as new ideas and programs that were implemented since her appointment in 2016 to her departure in 2019. Her efforts at mobilizing the Diaspora as people of African descent and not as citizens of any single
African country is unprecedented and exemplifies her ability to unify people around a common goal, speaking with one voice as one Africa and one Continent.
Additionally, H.E. Ambassador Arikana Chihombori Quao MD has been actively involved in various programs and projects of the African Union. In 2012, she became the Chair of the African Union-African Diaspora Health Initiative (AU-ADHI), where she was involved in mobilizing the African Diaspora health professionals to assist in addressing the healthcare needs of the African continent.
Prior to her appointment, Her Excellency was a renowned Family Medicine Doctor in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where she practiced medicine for over 25 years. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the American Association of Family Physicians as well as the Tennessee Association of Family Physicians.
She is married and the proud mother of 5 children.

Prudence Sebahizi is the Chief Technical Advisor on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and Head of the AfCFTA Negotiations Support Unit, based in the Department of Trade and Industry, African Union Commission, since August 2016. He provides technical and strategic advice to the AfCFTA Negotiating Institutions as well as to the Commissioner for Trade and Industry, on the AfCFTA Negotiations. He’s the overall coordinator of AfCFTA negotiations and coordinates a team of senior experts and advisors on various issues under negotiations.

Prior to his appointment to this position, he led a team of experts who provided technical assistance and strategic guidance to strengthen the capacity of the African Union Commission (AUC), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to more effectively drive the AfCFTA preparatory process since 2015. He was the Lead Technical Advisor (LTA) to the Department of Trade and Industry of the African Union Commission on the AfCFTA.

He worked for 2 years (from April 2012 – October 2014) with Civil Society Organizations like the National Coordinator of East African Civil Society Organizations’ Forum (EACSOF), an autonomous umbrella body of all Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in East Africa, with the primary objective of building a critical mass of knowledgeable and empowered civil society in the region, in order to foster their confidence and capacity in articulating grassroots needs and interests to the East African Community, and its various organs, institutions, and agencies. In his role he was responsible for Strategic Program Development and Advocacy; Program Management and Oversight; Representation and Partnership Building; Knowledge Management and Capacity Building; as well as Human Resources Management.

Prior to joining EACSOF in 2012, Prudence worked with the Government of Rwanda for more than 10 years in the areas of International Trade and Regional Integration and as Rwanda’s Chief Negotiator to the negotiations of the EAC Common Market Protocol since 2006. He was at the center of Rwanda’s accession to the East African Community (EAC) and he advised the government of Rwanda on Regional Integration while working with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Office of the President, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation respectively.

His Royal Majesty (HRM) Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, also known as King Adamtey, is the SUAPOLOR of the SE (Shai) Kingdom and King of Kordiabe- Madaam in Ghana, West Africa.

HRM King Adamtey I is Chairman of the African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI). King Adamtey I is the first African leader to be the keynote speaker at the World Public Forum (WPF) held in Rhodes, Greece in 2008 (Understanding Culture, Traditions and Religion), and in 2009 (Africa needs partners, not handouts). In 2009, he participated in the African Presidential Roundtable in Berlin, Germany, addressing “Land Reform Issues in Africa as it relates to the Impact of Colonialism”. He was also a guest speaker at the Global Forum, Stockholm, Sweden (2012) addressing the power and importance of technology and sustainable development in Africa.

King Adamtey is the first Chancellor of The University of Professional Studies, Accra-Ghana (UPSA) (2014-2019). He founded the Drolor Centre for Strategic Leadership (UPSA), a center that brings leaders together to explore leadership from a global context.

Presently, he is the Chancellor of Caribbean Maritime University (CMU), Kingston, Jamaica, and the Chairman of the Laweh Open University Council, Accra-Ghana. He is the former Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for Africa. HRM, Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, holds doctorate degrees in Education, Philosophy, and Theology.

Prof. PLO Lumumba is a Professor of Public Law, a holder of an LL.D (Doctor of Laws) on the Law of the Sea from the University of Ghent, Belgium, Master of Laws degree and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi. Prof PLO Lumumba holds an honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) (Honoris Causa) from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. He is also a holder of the Degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) (Honoris Causa) from Bells University of Technology in Nigeria. He has been trained on Humans Rights at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies University of London in England, Humanitarian Law at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of the University of Lund in Sweden and on International Humanitarian Law in Geneva, Switzerland. He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanganyika and a Certified Mediator. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya FCPS (K), a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM) and Honorary Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (FAAS). He is the Chairman of Farafina Investment Group in Monrovia, Liberia and Economic Strategic Growth and Development Initiative for Africa based in Nigeria.

He is the immediate former Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya School of Law, a former Secretary of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission and a former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC), (Now Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)). He is the Founding Trustee of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL) and founding Chairman of the Association of the Citizens Against Corruption (ACAC). He was the Founding Dean, Kabarak University School of Law, a former lecturer at the University of Nairobi (UON), the United States International University (USIU Africa) and Widener University USA (Nairobi Summer School).

He is a renowned legal practitioner. He has written several books including: Criminal Procedure in Kenya, An outline of Judicial Review in Kenya, Kenya’s long search for a Constitution: The Postponed Promise and Judicial Review and Administrative Law. He has published numerous articles in refereed journals and several book chapters. He has also edited several Books including Devolution in Kenya (with Prof. Mbondenyi and Dr. Kabau), The Constitution of Kenya (Contemporary Readings) (with Prof. M.K. Mbondenyi and S.O. Odero). He has co-authored ‘The Constitution of Kenya 2010 An introductory commentary’ with Dr. Luis Franceschi. He has also co-authored several books on Ethics. His non-legal books include; Swearing by Kenya, A Call for Political Hygiene in Kenya, The Searching Soul, Sanitizing Kenyan Politics, Mhh Africa! (Kiswahili), Ang’o Marach (Luo) and Watim Ang’o (Luo). He has also co-authored thirteen (13) other Books on Integrity as School Series. He has recently ventured into fiction with his book ‘STOLEN MOMENTS’.

Dr. Ochola is currently the Global Head and Director, Strategy and Innovation at Afreximbank, a position he assumed on joining the Bank in October 2015. During the five years he has spent at the African Export-Import Bank has was responsible for the development of the Bank’s Intra-African Trade Strategy as well as the development of the Bank’s Impact 2021 – Africa Transformed five-year strategy covering the period 2017 to 2021. He has over ten years of experience in Strategy Development and Innovation in both the Mobile Telecommunications and Banking Sectors across Africa and the Middle East. Dr. Ochola specializes in developing strong customer value propositions grounded on customer insights, as well as a detailed research-based and methodical approach to drive innovation especially in the area of financial solutions.

Prior to joining Afreximbank, Dr. Ochola served as Head of Strategy with Safaricom Ltd where he developed various innovative products. Preceding that, he worked with KCB Bank Group Ltd in Kenya as Director Strategy, Research, and Innovation responsible for driving strategy across the Group and Subsidiaries where he lead the development of their award-winning mobile banking platform. Dr. Ochola holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UCT, also an MSC, DIC, and BENG from Imperial College London and an MBA from Warwick Business School. He has published peer-reviewed groundbreaking research articles in Engineering International Journals.

Mr. Olivier Kamanzi is a Capital markets expert, International Financial Sector Development Consultant, Inspirational Speaker, and Philanthropist. He is Co-Founder and Chairman of Africa Global Chamber of Commerce headquartered in Chicago. Mr. Kamanzi is Founder and CEO of Globrock Group, a holding company of Globrock Financial, Globrock Trade, and Globrock Technologies. Globrock Financial is a global management consulting and investment advisory firm with its headquarters in Chicago and its subsidiaries both in the US and Africa. He is former Deputy CEO of Capital Market Authority of Rwanda, former Senior Investment Specialist of Citigroup (Citibank), and Executive employee at JPMorgan Chase. He is Founder and Chairman of The Olivier Kamanzi Foundation – a public charitable organization. Also, he is President of the Board of Directors of Saint Sabina Academy an affiliate to Saint Sabina Catholic Church based in Chicago, United States.

Mr. Kamanzi assisted in the establishment of the Rwandan capital markets industry and the creation of the Rwanda Capital Market Authority and Rwanda Stock Exchange. He initiated different policies including the East Africa Regional Financial Market Infrastructure Development and Regional Capital Markets harmonization and integration. He assisted in the development and implementation of the East African Central Depository Systems for securities and Securities Industry Training Institute (SITI, East Africa).

Mr. Kamanzi is a current Doctorate Candidate in Philosophy Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He holds an MBA in Finance from Ashford University, the Forbes School of Business in Iowa, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.

Mr. Kamanzi’s hobbies are running, reading, and serving the community by mentoring youth, providing financial literacy classes, and he teaches the Stock Market Program to 8th Grade. He appeared on various radios, TV, and written media including WVON Radio, BBC World Services, Voice of America, CNBC Africa, Reuters, Nation, East African, GhanaWeb, and many more. He has written multiples articles on financial and leadership matters.

Mrs. Tracey “Amaka” Stelly is a proud educator for 31 years and a
humanitarian. She participated in a year-long Distinguished leadership
program with Columbia University in New York as a CAHN Fellow. She has served as principal in Chicago Public Schools for 11 years at the Mildred I. Lavizzo School. She has since then served as a school counselor, senior manager over the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP) program, an assistant principal, and principal. With a history of academic success, she has worked collaboratively with the school community to make Lavizzo a high academic performing school. Because of her persistence and collaborative leadership style, Lavizzo has become the first IBMYP School in the Roseland Community in Chicago.

She is the founder of Between Friends Global Network foundation. Between Friends Global Network is a nonprofit organization established to provide educational literacy services and health services for students within the inner city of Chicago, Illinois, and the foreign country of Lagos, Nigeria. Amaka promotes literacy with our Links to Literacy approach by providing portable reading units to assist school-aged students. She seeks to improve the delivery of goods and services of education and health resources. To provide donated educational and hygiene items that will promote safe and healthy environments. Amaka’s corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, literary, health, and wellness purposes. Amaka proudly serves as the secretary of the African Diaspora Sixth Region of Illinois.

An inspirational leader, he speaks on the various international, community, and church platforms about frontier investing, economic stimulation, fund creation, and collective impact to bring about personal financial inclusiveness. Dr. Samuel O. Enyia is Professor Emeritus of communication and director of the broadcasting program at Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois until his retirement. He was a visionary leader who started a department of mass communication which became the department of communications with several majors. With his initiative, the broadcasting program became the first to introduce and teach digital broadcasting ahead of other universities in the USA.

His publications include Servant Leadership: Tear Down Pyramids; Empower Followers; Digital Technology: One Year Later; Be Healed: Challenges and Triumphs of Health Healing; Prayer: God and You Alone: Transforming Your Prayer Life with Strategies, Action Tips, and Principles.
