Event Details

Chris will identify and discuss the importance of an early diagnosis for a person living with dementia. She will explain how to discuss the diagnosis with the person experiencing symptoms and for those who care for the person. She will explain the HIPAA rules in discussing the diagnosis with payers and others who would assist the person living with dementia. *This course was developed by the Health Resource Service Administration. Elderwerks was given permission to present this information.


$10.00 – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, professional counselors, and nursing home administrators.
