Dr. Bryant is currently the Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs and Simulation
Simulation and Associate Professor at Columbia school of nursing’s accredited
Helene Fuld Health Trust Simulation Center. Dr. Bryant has over 20 years of
teaching experience and 10 years of experience as a Women’s Health Nurse
Practitioner. Throughout her career she has become an expert in the field of
simulation through her experience with designing simulation centers and
implementing simulation programs for two of the top-rated nursing schools in the
country. In her current role she oversees the day-to-day operations and
implementation of simulation-based education for all the graduate nursing and
advance practice nursing students. In addition role includes implementing
initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion for our students and the
community.
Dr. Bryant is the co-chair Society in Healthcare media and communication
committee. She has recently been appointed to the CDC funded Nurse-Led
Vaccine Confidence Advisory Committee. She is a proud member and current
chapter treasurer of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Lastly, she is
currently on the executive board for the Greater NYC Black Nurses Association.
She received her Associates degree in nursing from Hudson Valley
Community College. She continued her education at Stony Brook University
where she received her Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s Degree as a
Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Lastly, she received her Doctorate in
Nursing Education from Case Western Reserve University.

Angel Daniels is the currently working in the role of Associate Professor and Post-Licensure and General Education Program Chair at Bon Secours College of Nursing. Prior to entering this position, Angel worked as the Clinical Transformation Manager with the Bon Secours Medical Group (BSMG), Medical Home Department and clinical operations team for 6 years. Responsible for coordination of the nurse navigators program, medical home social workers, and advanced practice clinicians programs (APC) professional development to include development and implementation of Bon Secours first APC transition to practice (residency) program implemented in Fall 2016. Angel worked closely in care coordination with Bon Secours Senior Care Services, Bon Secours At Home Program, and Bon Secours Palliative Medicine programs.
Angel has over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare field. Prior to joining the Bon Secours Medical Group in 2011 as a nurse navigator, Angel was a RN in the Emergency Department at Richmond Community hospital from 2008-2012. In 2009 while maintaining her role as ER nurse, Angel was selected to be the nurse case manager and site coordinator in the planning and implementation for the Healthy Beginnings program at Richmond Community Hospital.
Prior to joining Bon Secours Health System, Angel worked as a Quality Improvement and Utilization management Specialist for 8 years with Southern Health/Coventry Healthcare Inc. Angel also worked as a medical assistant and certified nursing assistant for ten years. Prior to acquiring the role of Assistant Professor, Angel worked in the role of Adjunct faculty at Bon Secours College of Nursing teaching the RN to BSN transition program in vulnerable populations.
Angel earned her registered nurse diploma from Bon Secours School of Nursing in 2008. Angel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in in 2011 from Liberty University and went on to earn a Master of Science (MSN) degree in 2014 from Liberty University with a concentration of Nursing Education. in 2013. Angel earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in December 2016 at Chamberlain College of nursing with a concentration of Health System Leadership. Angel also earned her case management certification (CCM) Currently working on a Post- masters Certificate: Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University.
