Set- Up Info

Each Winery attending brings their own 10x10 pop up, tables, linens and ice.


Sampling Protocol Ticketless sampling

  • 3/8-oz pourers (MWA has available for sale at event)
  • 5-oz full glass pour
  • Tasting glass size: 6-oz glass


Premium Pours Wineries may charge $1/sample for up to 50% of products offered for sample, and conspicuously display fees to customers. Wineries may not convert a wine to a premium pour mid-festival, or charge for unqualified wines.


MWA Stipend MWA does not provide stipends for wineries at events it owns/operates, due to the costs associated with production/promotion of the event.

All wineries will be in 10x10 spaces; volunteers will be on hand to place wineries when they arrive Saturday morning.

  • Layout will be available the week before the event.


Setup Schedule 9am-11am Saturday

DrinkMaryland is a summer event series showcasing Maryland makers. These events are free to attend and feel like an open-air market. Tasting Passes can be ordered in advance to sample locally made wine, beer, and spirits.

  • Tickets $20 (in advance) and $25
  • Designated Driver & Children FREE


Average attendance We anticipate between 800-1000 attendees.


Volunteer information Each winery is afforded 5 [five] volunteer passes for use by legitimate staff and volunteers only. They will be checked-in at the front gate. Please bring your volunteer list to the front gate when you arrive Saturday morning.

CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE DUE BY THURSDAY, JUNE 13TH. NO EXCEPTIONS.


The certificate must indicate that you have general and liquor liability (General = $1mil per occurrence).
