At New London he performed corporate finance functions and negotiated joint ventures internationally. After returning to South Africa in 1993, he started developing property with Gavin Borthwick in a long-established family company, Maponya Developments. Donald was intimately involved in the growth of Maponya, developing properties to a value in excess of R1 billion. After a long association with Grit through his later employment at Hodari Africa, he joined Grit full-time in 2022. He is a chartered accountant, having graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1983. He served his articles with Deloitte. He is also a chartered management accountant.
Ewan Cameron Director: Africa of Westmont Hospitality Group Westmont Hospitality is a substantial and respected owner of hotel real-estate across four continents. Prior to leading Westmont’s growth in Africa, Ewan fulfilled a number of leadership roles within the continent’s hotel industry, notably with Lonrho, African Sun and IHG. Westmont’s portfolio substantially operates under the mega brand systems of Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott and Hilton. Ewan was born in Glasgow, Scotland.

Raghav Gandhi CEO of ALP Raghav is an experienced real-estate professional with a proven track record of delivering results globally across asset classes. Dennis Papa Odenyi Quansah IFC Edge Lead, East Africa at IFC Dennis Papa Odenyi Quansah is a Green Building Lead at the International Finance Corporation where he leads the IFC EDGE Green Building Market Transformation Program across Western and Eastern Africa and serves as a support for the Africa sub region. He works with IFC’s global partners in green building certification and is responsible for identifying early EDGE adopters amongst commercial and residential developers, financial institutions, industry organizations, and other stakeholders; presenting the technical and business case for EDGE; and assisting in registering projects for EDGE certifications. Papa Odenyi works with national and local governments to ensure EDGE is integrated into incentives and policy planning and to assist governments create green building codes on national and local levels He is also an Urban Development professional with a multi-disciplinary background.
