Economic Outlook Series

We are delighted to invite you to a special briefing to hear ANZ's view on the global and Lao P.D.R economic outlook and the latest developments from Bank of Laos about the current situation on Foreign Exchange Management.

The event is hosted by ANZ and in conjunction with Austcham Laos delivers on our commitment to keep you up to date with economic developments. 



At this event, you will hear from two keynote speakers and participate in a panel discussion, where the panellist will discuss in greater detail other topical economic issues as we head into the 2024 ASEAN Summit Year.

• Mr. Khoon Goh, ANZ's Head of Asia Research will discuss the latest local and regional economic developments.
• Mr. Phetsathaphone Keovongvichith, Director General of Foreign Currency Management, Bank of Laos will share an update on recent and upcoming regulatory changes aimed at enhancing monetary stability within Laos P.D.R.
• Ms. Hannah Wurf, Second Secretary, Economic, Trade and Infrastructure, Australian Embassy, will be the moderator for the panel discussion.

The event will also consist of a panel discussion and there will be an opportunity to discuss in greater detail other topical economic issues as we head into the ASEAN Summit Year.
