Effective Communication Skills - 1 Day Training (In Lao Language)

EDC, in partnership with AustCham Lao, is hosting a 1-day training on the topic, Effective Communication Skills. The training will be conducted in Lao language and is available to AustCham's Members and Non-Members. Effective communication skills are essential in the workplace as they can help team members identify solutions to common challenges. Great communication skills also make it easier for team members to articulate and clearly express their current concerns, leading to a more transparent and honest work environment. Effective communication is one of the many soft-skills which should be a key focus in the development of professionals at all stages of their career.

Objectives & Outcomes of the Training:

Upon completing this training, participants will:

• Understand the various barriers to effective communication.
• Learn about the key elements required for effective communication.
• Be able to access and understand the level of your own communication skills and identify key areas for improvement.
• Understand the basic concepts of assertiveness as well as providing and receiving constructive feedback.

As the training will be conducted with a relatively small group, it will be highly interactive with the opportunity to interact directly with the trainers and other participants involved in the training.

Participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion at the end of the day.
