Elgin River Swim

Join for a leisurely 4km or 6km river swim in the beautiful Elgin Valley, a 1.5hr drive from Cape Town.

Make a day trip out of it and stay for lunch at the Elgin River Lodge after the swim. Friends and family are welcome to join (at an additional R100pp payable directly to the lodge on arrival).

What's included in your ticket:

• Day entry fee to the Elgin River Lodge
• Paddlers for partial support during the swim
• Tea and coffee after the swim

Swim Overview:

Swim distances: 4km / 6km.

Description: Out and back routes, starting and finishing at the Elgin River Lodge.

Support: Partial support, two paddlers on the water.

Entry Requirements:

Swimmers signing up for this event must have the necessary physical and mental fitness, and must be free from major medical conditions and injuries.

Swimmers must have completed the following minimum distances during the month prior to the event:

• 2.5km for the 4km event
• 4km for the 6km event

Tickets:

Member tickets: 4km - R350 ; 6km - R450

Guest tickets: 4km - R400 ; 6km - R500

Registration opens 25 January 08h00, and closes 5 February 23h55, or when tickets sell out.
