Empowered2 Connect Conference

It's easy to feel isolated and hopeless amongst other families' stories of success, leaving you thinking, "but how could that work for my child?" The Empowered2 Connect conference is about providing expert clinical information in a nonjudgemental, emotionally atuned space so that gathering as a community of nonspeaker families is empowering and inspiring rather than comparative and guilt-ridden. You too can run your own successful home therapy program, and Empowered2 Connect will give you a foundation in all the essential resources needed to discover your child's voice and build a rich future together.

Parents are invited to attend the conference with their non- or minimally-speaking loved ones. A host of the field's leading Spelling to Communicate practitioners will guide and mentor each parent in a number of workshops and seminars addressing the following topics:

• Spelling to Communicate
• Purposeful motor
• Initiation
• Ocular motor
• Impulsive bodies
• Regulation

Additional events also include:

• a roundtable discussion with a panel of spellers and typers
• a roundtable discussion with a panel of veteran S2C parents
• a private pre-screening of "Spellers," the documentary based on the book Underestimated: An Autism Miracle by J.B. and Jamie Handley. Q&A with the documentary cast to follow.
• a silent disco dance party

Parents will walk away with both the practical tools of purposeful motor coaching, regulation, and S2C that they can immediately apply with their child, and a community of parents and spellers who share their struggles, experiences, aspirations, and joys. You will be empowered to start discovering your child's voice and feel hopeful about the future again.
