Environmental Justice focuses on the right of people to live in clean, healthy, and safe environments with access to clean air and water, healthy food, transportation and housing. Case managers work with clients who have health and quality of life issues associated with their environment.

Catherine Breneman is an Assistant Professor of Social Work and Director of Field Education at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and social work consultant at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She earned her M.S.W. at West Virginia University and Ph.D. in social work at the University of Pittsburgh.
