Mary Kay Furiasse, as the founding attorney, brings over thirty years of practicing law together with her clinical background as a nurse to A/Z Health & Elder Law. She has earned the Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) credential in addition to her Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Masters in Health Law. As previous counsel to Health Care Providers she is a passionate, healthcare advocate. She believes that everyone has a right to control their own health care decisions and that their dignity should never be compromised.
Mary Kay presents frequently to local professional and community groups, helping them to understand the unique legal challenges when faced with an illness, making the health care process understandable. She lives in the western suburbs and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
