The webinar is mainly targeted to the Hungarian business community who are interested to explore business opportunities in Malaysia, specifically for the F&B, IT and Engineering sectors, together with speakers from MIDA and MIGHT.

Ambassador of Hungary to Malaysia at Embassy of Hungary in Kuala Lumpur
Dr. Petra Ponevács-Pana has been serving as Ambassador designate of Hungary to Malaysia since September 7, 2020.
Before her nomination as Ambassador-designate, she held different position in the public sector since her graduation. From 2014-2020 Dr. Petra Ponevács-Pana served as Deputy Minister of State for Foreign Economic Relations and she worked closely with the business community, helped advance the Government’s priorities of expanding growth and business opportuniti es for all Hungarian partners. From 2013-2014 she served as Head of Cabinet of the Directorate - General for Social Affairs and Child Protection. From 2005-2010 Dr. Petra Ponevács-Pana was an international law consultant of the Ministry of Economy and Transport.
Dr. Petra Ponevács-Pana earned her degree in law “J.D.” from the University of Miskolc, took her bar
exam in 2010.
She speaks besides her Hungarian mother tongue, English, Russian and German.

Senior Vice President at Malaysian Industry Government-Group for High Technology (MIGHT)
ZAKWAN ZABIDI is currently a Senior Vice President with Malaysian IndustryGovernment Group for High Technology (MIGHT), a National Public-Private Sector Partnership under the Prime Minister’s Department which was involved in developing high technology industries for Malaysia. At MIGHT, he leads the industry development initiatives to navigate change moving towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He brings together the consolidated skills and knowledge acquired over 20 years of different management roles and involved on wide range of programs and initiatives which includes National Blueprints and Roadmaps, Innovation Model and Framework,
Policy and Strategy Development, Foresight and Technology Audit and Business Strategy Development.
He holds a Advanced Diploma in Business Administration majoring in Transport from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and undertook further studies in MBA at University of Salford, UK. He is also currently a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in United Kingdom, which was established to promote the study and advancement of the science and art of logistics and transport.
