Event Details

During this presentation, you will learn about a Physical Therapist's evaluation of the "dizzy" patient. Kimberly will discuss signs, symptoms, treatments as well as expected trajectories when planning out care for the dizzy patient.


Kimberly (Kimi) is the Illinois Regional Vestibular and Concussion Coordinator for Athletico and has treated this patient population since 2012. She has her certificate in Vestibular Competency from Emory University, completed the Evidence in Motion Concussion Management Certification (CMC) Program, and is a proud member of VEDA (the Vestibular Disorders Association).


$5.00 – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, and professional counselors.

$10.00 – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Occupational & Physical Therapists.

    Combining her love for athletics and her Physical Therapy profession has been the main focus of Kimi’s career. As a former CCWHA hockey player, she enjoys educating athletes on the importance of injury prevention and healthy training to improve their competitive abilities. The team approach to concussion management has led her to become a respectful resource in the area.

    She currently resides in Niles, IL with her husband, Matt, and children Kennedy and Easton. When she isn’t working or with her family, you can find her at the rink as the Assistant Coach of the Loyola Academy Girl’s hockey team.
