Adi Timbol-Hernandez

Corporate Relations Director

McDonald's Philippines

Adi came into McDonald's as head of the PR & Communications team in 2011. Today, Adi leads the Corporate Relations department which is responsible for the company and brand's reputation management and communication across its different stakeholders (customers, employees, Owner Operators, partners, and industry organizations). In her role, she also leads Government Relations and the Sustainability cross-functional team.

Her advocacies include championing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce among the over 50,000 McDonald's employees all over the country, as well as making a difference in the community through volunteerism.

Adi is also the pioneer of the McDonald's Philippines social media ecosystem. She successfully launched the McDonald's Philippines' Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages in 2011, and laid the foundation for content management excellence, social listening, and social customer care.

She graduated from the McDonald's Hamburger University in Chicago Illinois where she took a Marketing course in 2014 and is a proud alumna of De La Salle University-Manila with a degree in Communication Arts.

Outside McDonald's, Adi was the youngest elected president of the 64-year-old Philippine Association of National Advertisers or PANA in 2017. She is the incumbent PANA Vice President of the Board of Directors and held this position in 2018, 2020, and 2021. Adi was also the youngest serving board member of the Ad Standards Council (2017, 2018, 2020) and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Philippines (2018-present).

She was recognized as one of the 12 Young Market Master Awardees by Mansmith and Fielders, an award that recognizes the country's most outstanding marketers and entrepreneurs under the age of 35.

Adi is a wife to Ian and a mom to Aria (6 years old) and Aiden (2 years old). Her interests/hobbies include anything pop culture, studying history & monarchies, and binging on Netflix—from the 80s and 90s movies, and Korean Dramas to documentaries.
