*UPDATED LOCATION* Now on the third floor in St. Albert's Hall in room 304. Use the courtyard entrance between the Church and St. Albert's Hall. This is located off the alley by the rear parking lot. It is the same courtyard that has an entrance to the confessional side of the Church.
About the Executive Speaker Series
The Executive Speaker Series is a free event open to the public in which executives share their career and faith journeys with young professionals, challenging them to "Work in Witness for Christ." Attendees enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers and have a chance to socialize before and after the evening's presentation.
About the speaker
E. Wesley Ely, MD, MPH, is an internist, pulmonologist, and critical care physician. Dr. Ely earned his MD at Tulane University School of Medicine, in conjunction with a Master's in Public Health. He serves as the Grant W. Liddle endowed chair in medicine and is a physician-scientist and tenured Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is also the Associate Director of aging research for the Tennessee Valley Veteran's Affairs Geriatric Research Education Clinical Center (GRECC) in Nashville TN. He is the founder and co-director of the Critical Illness, Brain Dysfunction, and Survivorship (CIBS) Center, and a pioneer in the investigation of delirium and long-term cognitive outcomes, including dementia, in survivors of critical illness. Dr. Ely is the author of Every Deep-Drawn Breath, from which he's donating 100% net proceeds to help COVID survivors and family members rebuild their lives.
